Installation

Ok, Here's the deal. My computer crashed. Got another computer. Went thru all the formatting, reinstallation of programs, etc. Then I try to install Microstudio for the plexwriter premium external cdg drive (purchased from you) and get the message that this was previously installed on the other computer.

Ok, I have an older version of Microstudio, installed that but it won't recognise the external drive.
Ive purchased the program twice from you.
How do I get it installed?

You can install Microstudio on 3 different computers. So I was confused when you said you had it on one, then you got another and it won't install. :? :? :?

So I checked your record, and found it has been installed on 3 computers. Well, the reason we allow 3, even though the license is for only 1, is so you can install on another computer when you need to upgrade.

You purchased a Karaoke Suite 2 in 2002 (Microstudio is basically free in the Suites), then bought a $15 Microstudio upgrade in 2003, now you need to buy another $15 upgrade in August 2004 to install on a forth computer. You can do this at our store.

Post back in this thread after you purchase and we'll enable installation on the 4th computer.

Re: Installation

Thanks for your response yesterday.

Maybe the confusion is partly my fault. I pulled the paperwork for the USB CD recorder that I purchased from you. It was billed in my wife's name, Susan A. Hurley, invoice nr. 13990, 2/5/2004. Microstudio version 2.517 came with the recorder. I installed it on my laptop. It ran too slow. I than installed it on a desktop that crashed. I want to install it on this computer so I can use my external drive on one computer for CDG's. I can email you a copy of the invoice if you want.
