Can anybody help!?
 

I´ve just bought some cd+gs and read them into Hoster using my PLextor PX-W4012TU.Every CDG that i have read in so far have been good.These CDGs are german.The problem i have is that the title of each track doesn´t get displayed on screen.The screen is black during this time and only when the song text starts does it come on screen.Any ideas?.

I'd like an answer to that one also. I was at a private Karaoke party a couple of weeks ago ans a few of the dcg's I'd made in KHP did the same thing, while others also produced in KHP were perfectly normal. My best guess is the player(s) are reading the code differently Was not using Hoster either, playing directly from cd:?

George, does the KHP created song that didn't play on the Karaoke player, also not play on Microstudio? Have you tried to import it into Hoster, and if so does it have the same problem?

We need an example file that doesn't show the Title Page so we can diagnose it.

The tracks play just fine. The title page does not display, but the title does comes up on what ordinarily would be the first text page and is positioned above the text that will be swept. It actually moves the title to another page, if you can fathom that.

I've never had it happen here on my player that I can recall. The best I can do is to go through mine and see if I can find one that does it on my player.

If that doesn't work, I'll see if I can borrow one from the people who's house it happened at.

I'll see what I can come up with.

FALSE ALARM where the KHP produced discs are concerned. I just found one
and it is an older(3 years?) KHP vintage before we had title pages and had to use the space bar to force sweeping of the title before the music started, and all that sort of stuff. Been so long I'd forgotten about it, and I KNOW FOR SURE that was the case a couple of weeks ago, now that I see it here under calmer condidions :s

Sorry for the near coronary, but at least you haven't been trying to figure it out for two weeks :s

Makes me wonder about the vintage and source of the German discs in question.
Need some clarification there.Does the same thing happen outside of Hoster?

What brand of store bought disc was this? Also, have you run all of your Windows Updates, made sure that you have all the latest drivers for your Video card and Motherboard?

Hi,
the cdgs were bought at http://www.world-of-karaoke.com/ and are the WOK1-8 series.When played normally on my JVC player there is no problem.I have an Intel Centrino Chip,all the available windows anf graphic driver updates.This problem only occurs with these cdgs.Sunfly,Sound Choice etc are all OK.Think i´m going to have to live with it.:-).The Title does flash on for about 1/10th of a second before song starts.

If the quality of the arrangements please you, you don't have to live with it. Why not consider importing the music as .wav files with Microstudio, and re-build the cdg's with Karaoke Home Producer? Done it many times with messed up commercial cdg's and I find it beats "living with it", and/or apologizing to others. :)
