Anybody ever have this happen?

Last night during our show, I have a couple of Sound Choice songs act up on me. They cut out for a split second in the middle of the song, and then finished playing fine.

I rebooted the computer and everything seemed to be fine after that, but, what might cause that?

I know that some of us are having the problems with the PHM stuff, but I hadn't had any problems with Sound Choice, until last night.

It's probably not specific to Sound Choice, but most likely a PC issue (we all know how flaky PC's can be sometimes). Other times, there's things that happen that just can't be explained.

Ever Happened...

It could be that there may have been a bad spot on the original disc that you loaded in Hoster. I find this to be the case often. I buy 99% of my discs on Ebay. Many times I buy used ones from KJ's going out of business. And yes sometimes they are scratched. I therefore use Microstudio to re-record them and THEN load into Hoster. :w

I would suggest going back to your original and play it and see if it skips in the same place.

set up at home and see if same song skips in the same place.

It's been my experience that if an original was bad enough to cause audio proplems the accompaning graphics problem would be horrendous.

my guess on limited information would be that your pc decided that something had a higher priority than hoster.

Agreed. Now if I could just figure out what that was.............so it doesn't happen again.

Be sure to do the manual changes

First, if you are running Hoster 2.212, I'm surprised! :e

If you had audio drops, make sure you have followed the Manual Installation instructions, and also the Troubleshooting Tips for audio dropouts.

It may be a Virus checker firing off to auto-update, or something else you have running in background without your thinking about it. :w
