Negative offset for 2.209

An illustration in the manual for 2.209 shows the playback offset set to -5.20. I can't get mine to accept a negative number, I keep getting a dialog box telling me to use an integer between 0 and 5.

How can I get the negative numbers to work?

Thanks
Sam

OK, I have a question too, being a newbie.

What is playback offset supposed to do?

The playback offset can fix timing problems between the audio and graphics. IE start the graphics a little bit early or late depending on your situation.
