I hope Im not repeating

I had a problem at my last show. The song would be playing and then all of a sudden the right channel/speaker would drop in sound or stop completely. I have a sound blaster Live. I know I saw something about this before. I have the most current updates, I had no problems the first 2 months of shows. When it happen I switched the cables in the mixer. I completly changed the cables with new ones. I tries adjusting my mackie mixer never failed that the right channel would cut out. I was told that the right channel can be weaker cause the music is mostly left and center pan. Can anyone help me? I also changed the wire from the mixer to port onthe sound card. Is this a mixer or sound card issue or is this that DROP that some spoke of before?

Rich,

Don't know if this info is of any value but I also had a problem like yours but it was in my Mackie M-1400i amplifier. This was a little over a year ago. Took it back to the place where I bought it and found out that there was a factory fix for the problem. A ribbon cable was replaced at their cost and everything worked fine.
