There is nothing in Microstudio that can do this. I recommend you upgrade all of your Video Drivers.

You need to find out the Manufacturer of your Video card, then go to their website to get the latest version of the drivers. Just go to Google.com search engine and type in the Manufacturer's name and search. Their web site will appear.

MTUSUPPORT June 11th, 2004 10:27 AM

The Only thing that could cause this is that your Video card doesn't support DirectX 9.0. Please read this FAQ and post the results in this thread.Click Here.

Instead of Emailing this. Please attach the file to this post. You can do that, by answering this post. At the bottom of the edit function in the forum, there is an Attach File: item. Click the Browse button beside this. Then find the file on your computer. Then click Open once the file has been selected. It will then add the file to this post.

1st. Upgrade your card driver

Catmandan:

I suggest you download the latest driver for you graphics card from here

If this doesn’t solve your problem, I strongly suggest you consider buying another graphics card such as an ATI 7500 or higher. The one you have now is based on a S3 chip. One of the worst and most unreliable on the market.

Good luck

Jon

The Problem is that the S3 chip has always been one that didn't work with any versions of our software. There is no old version that did work, and that it just doesn't work now. It never would work. Try as Jaddams stated, it may work, may not. But the S3 chip has never worked with our software, so you may want to trade the card out for an ATI Radeon Video card.

ATI Radeon

You also might want to get an MSI FX-5600 which is much cheaper than ATI & it works perfectly:w

I'm not the only one that has this card, gdun also has it and he's running Hoster with out any problems.

MSI will give you at least 10 cd's and I would say 5 are great programs to have, WinDVD 4.0 is one of them and that program alone is worth at least $100.00!!

Good Luck

Not that much cheaper.

Nice card but.....

It’s my understanding that the MSI FX-5600 is a discontinued product. Originally it was an OEM version based on an nVidia Chipset.

The MSI that precedes FX-5600 stands for the licensee’s company name which is Micro Star International.

Micro Star licenses chipsets from many companies to use in their rather diverse line of products. They even use ATI technology to manufacture their version of ATI’s RADEON 9100.

There are many excellent graphics cards in the marked today.

I recommended the ATI graphics line because I believe that MTU tests its products within the ATI platform. Thus there should be no problems with these cards.

There are very good graphics cards at all price ranges.

Sometimes, saving a couple of bucks is not the best solution to a problem. :g :g
