cant complete installation
 

We recently purchased MTU software to go with our Plextor burner to burn karaoke cdg's...we, however, cannot complete installation and keep the error message as follows:

Error #: Oz80040702

Description: Failed to laod DLL:_ismtu

Setup will terminate.


PLEASE HELP!!

I'm trying to install the MTU software to use with my new Plextor burner...i keep getting the error message: DLL:_ismtu missing....i downloaded all windows update, rebooted pc as you instructed me to do, and still get the same message!....WHERE is this DLL file??

Please tell me what version of Windows are you running? The only way to fix this is to do all of the Windows Updates. I have tested this under Windows 98 SE yesterday and it worked fine, as long as I had the Windows Updates.

When you go to the Windows Update site it will state on the Left hand side the following 3 items:

Critical Updates- These have nothing to do with our software,

Windows XX(Version such as XP) and

Driver Updates.

To do all of the Windows Updates from any of the items other than Critical Updates, click on the Items Listed above (on the left side).

Then click on your Windows Version to select it.

Review and click Each item that you wish to Add to the Installation.

You must select every item to install as upgrades for our software to work correctly.

I have updated everything possible and I still get the error . Ox80040702 and cannot install the new microstudio. DEid you get it fixed and how? Urgent. Thanks

I have the same problem. Did you resolve your problem in the instllation. I downloaded everything they offered sand I still get the error message. Have put in countless hours with no success.

I'm trying to copy a cdg...the Plextor is the default for both reader and writer, but when i push the "start duplicating" button, it keeps telling me to select a reading device...any suggestions?

Turn your computer off, then turn it back on and run Microstudio again.
