Plextor PX-708 and Hoster
 

Can,t get Hoster Demo to say Yes for Karaoke with this drive.
I've bought Microstudio and after updating ASPI drivers with
MTU's downloaded ASPI file it worked OK but Hoster still
won't work. I've tried Nero ASPI and Adaptec ASPI and reinstalled
MTU ASPI but still it says NO to Karaoke in the detect drives box
Even switching between "Use MTU ASPI" and "Use default ASPI"
makes no difference. I want very much to try this software, my
regular Karaoke place still swaps CD's in an RSQ deck and desperately needs dragging into the PC Karaoke era!!!
Hoster Forum points me to the Microstudio "Update your ASPI
Drivers" posting which I've already done. A search for PX-708
comes up empty too.

The demo doesn't have drivers yet to support this drive. The full version does work with this drive, and the Microstudio demo will also work. The Hoster demo should be updated within the next 1.5 to 2 months.
