cd-rom won't read the karoke disc. HELP!

CR52-M ATAPI INTERNAL CD-REWRITER

Ken,
There is no way to make this drive work. The only brands of new drives that will work for CD+G are the Plextor drives. Did you donwload the demo and test your drive before you purchased the software?

What does the software tell you? Does it show NO for Karaoke?

YES IT SAYS NO, AND I DIDN'T DO A TEST. WHEN I BOUGHT MY BURNER SATURDAY AT MY COMPUTER STORE THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD WORK, SO I DID'T DO THE TEST!

They told you wrong, most of them don't actually know thats why they tell you that it will work.

I would take the drive back and get a Plextor drive.

Any of the Plextor drives except for the Plextor PX-W 504 models.

These models work great:

Plextor PX-W Premium
Plextor PX-W5224 (any extra letters)
Plextor PX-W708 (any extra letters)
