Program Not Working Properly
 
I Purchased Microstudio upgrade 2.517 and i can not seem to figure out how to get my cdroms to show up when i want to copy a cdg cd. it says no for karoke and i do not know how to fix this can any one help i am using a Laptop pc an hp pavilion ze5300


Please help

There is no way to make the drives show up, if they don't support the CD+G format. The only brand of drives that will work for the CD+G format is Plextor.

what is a plextor drive and where do i get one the cd that i have is this pc is also playes dvds. I used a different laptop before with an exterior cd burner and it did not have problems.

You can purchase a tested one that is known to work with CD+G from www.mtu.com.

Why was i able to use your program before with my other laptop with an older program then the latest update and a new pc

i purchased the updated program because of having windows xp. so i fugure i need to update the program


do i need to have an older program to work.

If you reinstall the older version that you had, that you say was working then you should be ok. The only thing that you will need to do is update the ASPI drivers since the old version didn't have those.

Will you be updating the drivers to the new version so it can be used in any cd-rom because other wise i think i wasted the money to buy the new one if it does not work

There is no way that we can make the software support drives that don't work for Karaoke. This is inside the drive itself, and would have had to have been done when the manufacturer built the drive and designed it.

I am sorry about this, but the Plextor brand is the only brand that still supports the CD+G format.
