Microstudio doesn't work???

I recently made a Karaoke song in KPRO and then exported it as a CDG file. I then wrote it to a CDR and when I try to play it in a karaoke machine it shows ERROR. I tried again and now when I am burning a cd Microstudio says the cd is doing what it is supposed to do and even says it has completed the cd. BUT THERE IS NO FILES ON THE CD?
HELP????????

Play in Micro

Will your burned CDR play with Microstudio?

What brand of CDR are you using & also the brand of your Karaoke Machine is?

My CDR is TDK. It is burned on a Plextor drive. If you saw my last post, microstudio now says it is burning the CD but there are no files on it? I tried burning from another software and it worked so the cd drive is fine?

Bob,
How are you determining if there are files on the CD? If you look under Windows Explorer, it should show the tracks with a .cda extension.

If you were to place this CD back in your Plextor drive, and open it with Microstudio you should see the tracks. What you can do is open Microstudio, click the Play Tab, click Use CD-Rom Drive, Click the TOC Refresh button. You should now see the tracks on the disc listed in the White Play Window.

What part of Microstudio are you using to burn the CD? Duplicate disc or Custom Assembly? If you are using Custom Assembly, make sure that you are using the Write CD button and not the Test Write CD button.
