computer locking up when play button is pushed
 

Lately, when I try to play songs that I have recently imported into Hoster, it stays on "cue" and the laptop locks up. This has happened with various brands. I have re-recorded some of them and they sometimes work then. No problems recording and playing them in Microstudio. :?

Need more info!

Help us so we can try to help you! You don't tell us much to go on, please read this post and try posting back again with a bit more information.

After posting my problem, I tried playing one of the songs that had given me trouble. Once again, status went to "CUE". However, the song started playing after 3 or 4 minutes. I tried some others and some of them started after 10 seconds and some after a few minutes. Certain functions of Hoster still worked. I could minimize it, for instance. I could not exit from Hoster, however. If I clicked "BACK" or "STOP", the hourglass appeared.
I'm using Hoster 2.014 with XP Pro. The first 4,000 songs I recorded never did this.
