compression/normalization

Well, I got no response on my last question. So, I'll rephrase it. If anyone who reads this has successfully used the compression/normalization feature, please let me know that it does or does not work. I've tried everything I can think of and can see no difference in the audio level.

Compression

Larry,

I tried it too when I first got Hoster. Tried several songs but did not notice any difference. Adjusting the mixer from time to time is not that big of deal with me so I opted to just leave that option of Hoster alone. I haven't seen on this forum where that option in Hoster has been used that frequently.

Have a great turkey day!

Kelly

Thanks for your response. Yeah, it's not that big a deal. But occasionally I'll forget to lower the level after a Pioneer disk and slick somebody's hair back sitting in the front row on the next song. Since it's there, I'd like to take advantage of it. If it works. I suspect that not many have even tried it.
