Microstudio shows no 'Reading drive' or 'Writing drive.' When I click on 'Start Duplicating, a box comes up that says 'Select a reading device [CDROM] ' but there is none to select. When I click on 'Detect Drives' the box shows none, and says

'Notice!

Drives that show NO for Karaoke will not appear as reading or writing drives for Karaoke.

I have tried uninstalling Microstudio, and now cannot install it. What do you suggest?

Restart

Restart your computer. Sometimes the ASPI drivers we install don't activate until your Windows is restarted.

What version of Windows are your running?

What Microstudio version?

I have restarted several times. I have Windows 98SE. Microstudio V2.400 is my version.

I have another burner 'cequadrat just burn' that has been here all along. I replaced the 'cdrom/dvd drive' w/ the PleXwriter back in April and have had no problems. I recently used the Plex to read a disc, and the cdquadrat to write. Could this have caused the problem?

Hi,

I have gone back to the package information, and re-installed Microstudio. All seems to be fine now.
