Compressor feature
 

Has anyone here used the compression/normalizing feature. I've tried it and can not tell any difference. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. The manual is good at explaining what it is but vague on exactly how to use it. I'm mostly interested in the normalization to bring the audio on Pioneer disk up. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I did this on my CDs. You won't hear any difference until after you've imported the songs - hitting the "Play" button on the Compression screen doesn't reflect the difference. Just checkmark the box telling it to use Compression, and use the top slider bar to increase the sound level - that worked for me.
