Compression and/or normalizing
 

Has anyone here used the compression and normalizing feature? The last time I tried it, I couldn't tell any difference. I'm mostly interested in the normalization feature because of low audio on disk such as Pioneer. If I have cranked it up for one of these and forget to bring the level back down on the next song, I have been known to slick back the hair of everyone sitting at the front tables. I didn't enter any compression information but unfortunately to get normalization you have to go through the whole process. I guess I just want to know if anyone has used this feature successfully?
