Audio and video skipping
 

i am having a problem with the audio and video skipping in microstudio ever since i downloaded directx 9.0
this only occurs when i play a cdg file directly from the hard drive
if i burn the same file to a cd and play it back thru microstudio it plays fine
i have tried several cdg files stored on the hard drive with the same result
i have set the hardware acccelerator from none to full with the same result
i have also had some out of sync video occuring since i downloaded directx 9.0 as well
i have a prostar 8854 laptop from mtu
can anyone help?:?

Which sound card do you have? If it is a Creative product, you may have to adjust the hardware accelaration to a lower number.

tried all the accelorater setting with the same result
i think its an audiology sound card

everything worked fine with directx 8.1

This is odd. What I would try doing is to upgrade all of your Audio and Video drives from Pro-Star. Here is the link to the latest drivers from them: http://www.pro-star.com/index.cfm?ma...elno=8854/888E

This could be the problem, the video drive on there will support DirectX 9.0, so give that a shot and let me know what happens.
