When playing a CD AUDIO the screen is blacked out and I have no control untial track is finished and then the track screen reappers...Is this normal ???

I take it your problem is for Microstudio. Yes you get a full black screen when playing an audio track through Microstudio. To stop song and return to Microstudio interface simply press the Esc button on your keyboard.
