changing drives
I just installed Hoster last night on my new laptop and imported a few disc's worth of music onto a folder on my C: drive to test it out. Works great. Today I installed my 2nd hard drive which I intend to use for all the karaoke data. Copied all the songs to a folder on the D: drive and rebuilt the database using the D:\karaoke as my source folder (that's where the songs were copied to). When I try to add a song from the HD to the play list it says "C:\karaoke\songname.kma was not found on the hard drive." How can I make it look in the correct folder for songs to add to the play list?
Thanks, Mike |
OK, sorry, I figured it out. I didn't realize you had to choose a specific folder for the songs.mdb. It works when I create it in c:\program files\micro technology unlimited\Hoster\Databases. Does it have to be this folder, or can I somehow place it on my
D: drive with all the rest of the karaoke data? Probably have to install hoster to that drive, huh? Mike |
