Hoster Lock Up

If I let hoster play one singer at a time. The program works fine (from hard drive), but if I set the next singer up while the current singer playing (only sometimes) it will freeze (words only) but the music will continure to play. I have set multiple singers up and nothing happen then somedays the program gets a burr up @#$ and then locks up in the manner I describe. I played with this before shows and had some problem when I added more than one track (lineing up the next singer). I just have one i seems to work fine. Any assistance would be helpful.

bubba1453, the fact that you are seeing this sporatically indicates there is something with the computer that is involved with this. Yes, we are aware there is a sensitivity in Hoster to something on a Windows/PC. So far, we or our beta testers have not identified what it is. Your system seems to exhibit it more often and in a different way than I am aware of.

Please run the DXDIAG diagnostics and post here with the file it creates as an attachment.

I will ask MTUSUPPORT to contact you directly to see what might be in your system that Hoster is sensitive to.

Music Stopping Words Don't

I posted this in a different thread, but, this seems like a good place to mention it. Twice now, that I am aware of (in 2 weeks) The music has dropped out but the words continue. The first time I wasn't present to see what happened. The second time I witnessed it myself. The KJ pressed Enter to add a singer & the music stopped. He stopped the song & restarted it & it played fine. This is on a HP Pavilion ze5170 with XP Home Addition, all Windows updates available were brought up to date just before I upgraded to the new Hoster. I have 512 of Ram & am in the process of adding more, thinking it may help...Wayne

Download Hoster 2.013

For bubba1453... please download Hoster 2.013 and run it. This is a 22MB file size so you need to download from a computer with DSL or Cable (roadrunner). If you cannot do this, please order the CDROM at our web site for $12 and we will send it to you.

To download over the Internet:

1. Get your Hoster download email (sent from the MTU.com store when you ordered) with your private download link.

2. Click this link, or if it is broken across 2 or more lines, paste the entire URL (from http:..... .exe) into your browser.

3. Save the file to your hard drive. DO NOT install it over the Internet.

4. Once it is downloaded, find the file (remember where you selected to store it before you started the download) and double click it.

5. Follow the directions to REPAIR your current installation.

Post back here if you still have problems after you upgrade.
