Although MicroStudio seems to be happy with the HP 9100i drive, the REFRESH button is the only active button on the PLAY TAB and the product will not play CD+G disks.

Check out the problems and solutions Thread in this Forum, especially the ASPI section. Since the software is working everywhere, you are facing an installation problem. The ASPI driver is the most likely. HP has stopped shipping the standard Adaptec software that provided the ASPI driver we required to communicate with the CDR drive.

Does ADMIN's reply indicate that I should head out to the Adaptec site for an updated driver?
