freezing PC

Hi There.

I have a few problems concerning Microstudio someone might be able to help with.

Problem 1.
I can sometimes use the "play" facility in Microstudio with no problems, but in the main I can't as the video sticks or the audio jumps or doesnt move.

Problem 2. This problem occurs every time I close Microstudio after using custom assembly to make a disc :

My computer locks up/freezes and I have to use my PC's reset button to get the computer going again, i've even used alt/ctrl/del and tried that way and it still do's it. It then go's through "Scandisc" of course before it comes on and the whole process is a pain in the you know what.

Problem 3. I no longer use "Duplicate Disc" as I lost to many recordings with the resulting lock up & Scandiscs that went with that and referred to avove.

I'm using Windows ME, 256 MB ram, 20 gig hard disc and I have nothing running other than Microstudio, I am not connected to the internet as I have disabled my cable connection.

Anyone got any ideas please?

I am also using Windows ME. I had the problem on freezing. I used the default drivers in Microstudio and my problem stopped.

I would however try George's suggestion of upgrading your aspi drivers
