Roadhouse..Did you try and use your laptop on battery power only. I had a lot of noise on my Laptop (not an MTU Laptop). Everytime I used the mouse it would send noise into my amp and there was a loud crackling hum going thru my sound system..however when I disconnected the powersupply from the laptop it was perfect. What I ended up doing was to cut the ground pin from AC adapter and I havent had a problem. Worked for me but no responsibility taken.

Roadhouse,

I had the same thing and they are right, I simply cut the ground pin off and all noise stopped. Also just good to know, if you play at an establishment where they have you hook up to a large screen TV; make sure they're cable connection is diconnected. This will also cause all kinds of ground noise too.
