version 2.4

I was using version 2.315 for a few months and loved it.... it worked great!..... I just purchased version 2.4 yesterday... I received the link and have downloaded it twice so far...... I don't believe it has "taken"...... when I open up microstudio, it still says version 2.315 and looks exactly like it did before, so I'm thinking the download didn't take.... I downloaded it twice and it seemed to have downloaded.... the only thing that looked suspicious was when registering it, I received a "Screen Saver Disabled" message....... What can I do to get version 2.4 to work....... I have windows XP and version 2.315 worked wonderfully........ Any suggestions!?:? :?

follow-up:

PS: Another day has gone by and still having problems....... I've already used my 3rd download and no results.......... I was reading some other postings and I think the problem is that I did not "uninstall" version 2.315 before installing 2.4........ The email instructions said that there would be an option to "uninstall" version 2.315.... that I should select "uninstall" the prior version before downloading.... I NEVER got that option..... what do I do now...... I believe that might be the problem:?

You do need to uninstall

If Microstudio does not give you that option, then exit its install program before it installs.

Click the Start button, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove programs. Find Microstudio 2.315 and remove it.

Run the Microstudio install program. It should now install correctly. Let us know if it doesn't. :w
