How can i convert a vcd disc to cd+g thanks

jaddams February 2nd, 2003 01:15 PM

Betamax-UK,

1.- Import the tracks as WAV files using MicroStudio.

2.- Import the lyrics, ad the music you imported and place the lyrics using Kpro'

3.- Burn you CD+G with MicroStudio

Good luck,

Jon

If you have access to a Philips Home cd recorder deck, play the VCD on your vcd player and record the audio on a CDRW in the Philips. It should get saved as .wav. Then import the completed CDRW through Microstudio to the p.c and continue as Jon suggested using KHP to make the new cdg. Using CDRW(which Philips recognizes) saves going into the coaster business just for this pupose.

After I read your post, I took a VCD and copied it using EZ cd creator. This saved the audio as a wav. Then KHP will import the wav and things should be good. Hope this works

Jim,
Glad you picked up on my post. See no reason why it won't work once the audio extracted as .wav. Be interesting to know how you come out.

This worked fine. No problems at all. I hope it works for Betamax as well. I'm like you though, I have access to a Sony stand alone, but I was looking for an alternative for Betamax
