Stolen Music

I\'ve been doing karaoke for over 25 years and nearly 20 years with Hoster. I guess I\'ve been lucky but as far as I know I\'ve never had my music files stolen. A simple copy and paste from my C drive and external drive and the thief had 55K+ music files. I\'ve spent the last few months and lots of money to try to find a way to protect these files. I\'ve used encryption. External drives that are encrypted. I set up user accounts and tried to use permissions. In each attempt I could get the music files protected from being copied, cut, moved, deleted and renamed but to put that much protection on them I could not have that same user use the files on Hoster. Has anybody dealt with this suggestions would be nice.

Don\'t connect your laptop to the internet... problem solved.

If you buy new music, do it using some other computer then transfer to your laptop
