Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
I have the two Bose\\\'s installed with my Hoster. I have a problem with my
ToneMatch the audio doen\\\'t work. I have the cable from the ToneMatch to my computer\\\'s USB but no sound. I tried two other cables and I even used my secondary Hoster in my other computer. HELP! please. Wes Rahn The Mike\'s work with the L1 Compact. |
Re: Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
I\\\'m not familiar with Bose products but as you say you have tried 2 different cables and your other computer it seems something wrong wth the Tonematch itself.
I would check you have usb selected as your source input. Found this on google search so check it out first. https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/support...e/article.html |
Re: Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
The other thing to check is your tonematch selected as the audio output souce.
If you can see a small speaker icon right hand side of your taskbar click on it to expand it that should show which output is selected. If you can see your tonematch there select it. In your Hoster Tools/settings/Audio make sure your tonematch is selected as your playlist Audio card. |
Re: Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
Once again thanks for being there.
I can buy another T1 Tone Match for about $350 but can I also use a Yamaha MG06X to use with my MTU? Thanks, Wes |
Re: Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
Well assume you\'ve tried the above and still not working?
The MG06X will work with Hoster but as far as I can see it does not have Usb input therefore you would have to use computer headphone out socket to connect to it. As I stated before, i am not familiar with L1 speaker set up so can not advise you on connecting to them from the MG06X. Waltr used to have a Bose set up if he reads this he might be able to help. Have you tried connecting your Tonematch via the computer headphone socket see if you get any joy that way. One last thing, was this all working recently or is it a new system your trying to add? |
Re: Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
If you have tried everything Roy described you should be good to go. Make sure your Bose is turned on after hooking up your usb cable to the computer. Then reboot your computer. After doing this and assuming you have followed Roy\'s suggestions, you should see the Bose audio option in your audio devices. You need to select this as your default. If you have followed all the steps and don\'t see the bose listed in your audio devices it may be that you don\'t have the Bose driver installed. You may need to go to the Bose web site and download the driver.
NOTE: It is important that you have your Bose turned on and hooked up to the computer before turning your computer on. If not your computer may not recoginize the Bose Tonematch. |
Re: Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
Thanks Walt,
I did what you said, and I still can\'t get the vocal to work. I have a great speaker with my computer that I can turn up and it will get loud. But, if the Yamaha MG06X will work with my computer, it doesn\'t cost as much as a new BOSE T1ToneMatch. So, does the MG06x work? Thanks again to both of you for your help. Wes |

Re: Bose ToneMatch Audio Engine and L1 Compact
Walt,
I\'m getting old (80) and forget to provide all the needed information. I had no problems with the BOSE T1 Tone Match until two weeks ago. I was doing a program, and I had moved my equipment to a different location and when set it up I could not get it to work. Wes |
Switch To Yamaha MG06X
Thanks, Waltr and Roy Dennis for your responses.
Since I can\'t figure out how to fix the Bose, I will switch to the MG06X if it will work. So, anyone out there who can tell me if I can use it with my Hoster, Thanks, Wes |
