Hoster No Longer Counting Down Duration

Greetings,
I am unable to figure out why, (all of a sudden) Hoster is no longer counting down the remaining time left in each song performance. Screen example included. Any and all help or advice greatly appreciated. Thanks! Gwen (AKA The Karaoke Queen) |

Sorry for the delayed response. That suggestion did not work for me and after unchecking columns, I found that I now have even more non-functioning columns, as a result. (See new attachment for related details.) I guess my only other option is to un-install and re-install my Hoster software. :? Do you know of a way to save my old .hst files to be made available for newly installed Hoster software? Thanks in advance. TKQ |

You know that on the title bar if you click on the lines dividing the different catagories you can drag them left or right. You may have some of the fields covered up so give it a try. :)

This may sound stupid but just in case, have you checked to make sure the clock in the computer is working?

Yes. My clock works just fine. As a result of further troubleshooting, I lost an additional column (i.e., \"Artists\" - see attachment), in addition to my \"Dur\" column. Both of these columns are present when I search for a Hoster song, however, they are not present during my Hoster karaoke song performances. Thanks. |

Gwen, when you do the uninstall and reinstall, did you remove hoster completely? Remember you need to be connected to the internet before you uninstall. When I say completely, I mean to the point where you select the option that will require you to install as a new installation. You will need to enter your email address, license, etc. If you don\\\'t do it this way you won\\\'t clear all the info from the previous installation. BUT, before you do this, you may want to go into tools and reset your displays. This may solve your problem but take note, you will then have to reset your screen sizes again. It still looks to me like you have some of the columns covered up. If you don\\\'t know what I mean by that, please let me know. Also, on the countdown, I want to make sure you are talking about the main Hoster screen (Duration) and not countdown on your singers monitor.

This is your issue, the line between status and singer is hiding the DUR field. Keep trying, it will appear when you get the mouse on it just right. You know that on the title bar if you click on the lines dividing the different catagories you can drag them left or right. You may have some of the fields covered up so give it a try. |

Once I hoovered my cursor as suggested, I found the missing fields were somehow hidden. Thanks everyone for your attention and support! :) |
