OK the battery is going dead in my crystal ball, so we need some information, what brand discs are you having trouble with?? What processor are you using, how much memory, you say you can get 19 out of 20 songs. Do you get a good backup with only 19 tracks, but the orgional is 20 tracks long, and what media are you using, and what read and write speeds have you tried.

Is DMA on and sync data transfer on???
Have you installed ASPI drivers at the top posting in this section??

This will give us something to go on...:w

Jim

ASPI drivers would be the first thing I would try!!! If you can't find it, just click on this link it will take you there:

Jim, he hasn't given the slightest hint whether he's tried doing what ADMIN suggested to him at 5:30 this morning on another forum regarding the possibility that he's using copy protected cdg's.

Since this all started with installing a new burnerand you need to get operational for the weekend, can you re-install your old burner and get by temporarily, assuming you had a burner before? All the drivers for the old burner should still be in the pc, so it should work o.k. Can't think of anything else to get you by for now.

it's not my burner it's with microstudio

The problem isn't with the burner it is with microstudio program i called the tech support over my burner they helped me step by step on installing it so it is installed properly but i can not get microstudio to import cdg's it imports up to song #19/20 and stops everything in plaxtor properties is correct i dowloaded the aspi drivers and it still does it and now i have slow read time and i am running on W-Me i have tried other cdg's and same problem
