Microtools problem
I'm having problems with Microtools 2.0. It *used* to work on my system, but now all I get is the message saying it appears that Microeditor 2.6 or higher isn't installed on my computer (it is - I'm running Microeditor 5.2c on a P1), and to please install it before using Microtools.
I've tried re-installing Microeditor and Microtools - nothing works. Any ideas? Thanks-- Laura |
Questions...
Laura, did you change your Windows operating system?
Microtools only runs under Windows 95/98. It will not run on Win 2000 or XP, and I'm not sure about Win ME. Microtools is looking for the Microeditor .exe file in the default directory. If you installed Microeditor in a different directory, or renamed the Microeditor .exe file, then Microtools won't run. Look at these things. |
Microtools problems
Thanks for the tips on Microtools - I'll check out to see if the file was moved or inadvertantly renamed. I'm running Windows 98, so I know that part isn't the problem.
