Windows 10 Compatibility With Hoster 5.10
 

I want to install windows 10 in my pc with hoster 5.10, since Microsoft is giving it away. Can anybody advise me as to the compatibility?
I just want to save money and time loss by following your advise based on someone's experience.

I can't speak for 5.10 as I use the latest version.

The only problem that seems to occur is with the graphics drivers which can also affect the audio.

I have about a 5 year old Acer Aspire that has ATI Radion 4500 series graphics card. The Catalyst driver no longer works. The ATI site states that 4000 & 3000 series cards are no longer supported for updates and the latest catalyst driver support for those cards only goes to windows 8. and no further upgrades will be available.
Windows 10 automatically imported an upgraded graphics driver for it which does seem to work OK with Hoster but as the catalyst driver no longer functions I don't know how it would work with high end games. As I'm not a gamer it does not seem to affect me.

You do get a few weeks to trial it so you can return to the old system if you want.

I'm quit happy with 10 myself although you need to re learn your way around it.
