Hide In Songbook - clear all check marks
Is there a way to clear all previous songs marked hide in song book? I am starting over with trying to hide duplicates but some are checked and some are not and it is very confusing would like to start over.

Re: Hide In Songbook - clear all check marks
This works on 5.35 version not sure about earlier versions.
Open tools edit dialog, select multiples tab, in the yes/no row next to the search is a Hide SB button select that along with the karaoke button or any of the others if you have them set to hide. Now enter the wild card character * in the search field and press enter it should list them all, may take a bit of time if you have lots of them. Now select the top to highlight it then scroll to the bottom SHift +left click to select all again this might take a time. The hide in songbook tick box is probably unticked, tick it then pause a while then untick again then press apply changes. You can try on a few at a time if you like. |
Re: Hide In Songbook - clear all check marks
That worked thanks so much. One more question, when I use the * to sort bu song title in song edit screen there are a few songs that begin with the letter I that are showing up first, then the numbers then the songs starting with A, can you think why that would be?

Re: Hide In Songbook - clear all check marks
Numbers always list first before letters in alpha sorting.
Regards the "I" it may be you have a space character before the "I" " I" if you highlight one then look in the box where you edit the artist see if there is a space there and delete it then save and it should then list correct the next time you sort. Or are you mistaking an "I" for a "1" |
