Long delays between songs
 

I am testing Hoster on one of my computers and I will get long delays between songs with (not responding) displayed. I can play 2 or 3 songs fine and then a problem. The delay can be from 5 seconds to 40 seconds and I know I can't run a show with this computer until it is fixed. It is a Dell with Windows 7. I have three identical computers and the other 2 work fine. Any ideas!!

Are all three computers running the same version of Hoster? It sounds like something is using lots of ram. Did you check task manager/processes and see if something seems to be using a lot of resources? You may want to compare the troubled computer with one of the others.

Walt,
I was in this computer yesterday, updated Video Drivers got it semi working, but now hes having issues again. I have asked them to download and run this Malware scanner to see if that is creating the delay, as something is in the computer.

This is pretty good about cleaning up systems, just takes some time for sure! I just figured I would post what I had already done on this system, and it has all the Windows Updates.

I did run the malware software and so far it seems to be working fine. I am going to a lot more testing tomorrow and post if that did it.

So that seems to have fixed it then? That freebie is pretty powerful, it takes some time, but works!
