64 bit and 32 bit laptop problem

I have recently purchased a new Toshiba laptop with a 64 bit OS and upgraded to Hoster 520.02. which I've installed on the new laptop. I've also downloaded all of my tracks onto my laptop hard drive and printed out new song books.

I want to use my old 32 bit Toshiba as a back up and have downloaded the up-graded Hoster 520.02 onto that laptop and now I want to clone Hoster from my new 64 bit laptop to my old 32 bit laptop.

Both laptops have Windows 7 OS.

Is this an easy transaction or is there a special procedure I need to follow? :f

Re: 64 bit and 32 bit laptop problem

Use the new backup feature in 5.20. On your new computer, from the help menu select "Backup/Restore". Once you select it you'll see a Hoster must close notice just press OK and follow the instructions. Save the backup to a Usb stick or cloud drive that you can access with your old laptop.
After installing Hoster on the old computer select the restore option and again follow the instructions.
This will make the 2nd computer a clone of the first, this will not copy the music files. As you say you downloaded all your music onto the new computer you will have to have all your music loaded on the old computer using the same file paths. It will not clone it if one computer uses an external hard drive and one the internal hard drive.
