Instabuttons

I just upgraded to the latest version and I cannot add files to the Instabutton feature. The manual does not give me any help on how to add files. I am using windows 8.1 on a dell desktop inspiron computer. I guess I'm getting too old for this stuff.

Re: Instabuttons

Did you have the instabutton feature in your previous version ?

Does the instabutton settings dialog appear after selecting it from the Tools menu/instabuttons ?

If the settings window appears click in a blank line or tick the box on left then press select file which then opens windows explorer, then brows to a folder containing files of the type you want to use, select the file then open and it should appear on that line. Once the file is in the list click in the Title column which should turn to an empty square and type in a short name for you to recognise the file, you can also click the colour button to choose a colour for the button. After entering the files you must have the tick box selected on the left for the ones you want to display on the main screen, also be sure to tick the box top left for Display instabuttons. When finished click OK and close the dialog.
If you can't see your instabuttons showing on the main screen double click the playlist header bar and it should drop down to reveil the buttons, double clicking a second time will hide them again.

If you still have no luck try explaining in more detail what the problem is.
