Search button stopped working

Can someone help me? Yesterday I noticed that the search button stopped working. When I hit it it does nothing. The other buttons seem to be fine.

I hope someone can help.

Are you saying that the search dialog doesn't appear at all ?
If so from Tools Menu/Options/ select reset displays and choose yes for search singers & Background.
Or are you saying the dialog appears but does not return any results ?
Also which version are you using ?
