KM 112 Mixer to use with Hoster

I purchased a KM112 Mixer to use with Hoster a while back. It came with software that works for a 32 bit system. I am using Windows 7 with a 64 bit system.

When I bought it from Acesonics, they assured me that it would work with Windows 7. It does work-except that the mic doesn't exactly sync with the words-it lags a little. They did send me a link for a 64 bit system-but I wasn't able to get it to download properly. That was some time ago and I can't find the link now.

I have been Emailing them to no avial.

Does any body out there have the software that will work with a 64 bit system for the KM 112 ? -or a link that will work ?

If you bought one recently, it probably came with a CD that contains 64 bit software.

I'd be glad to reimburse you for your efforts if you could send me a copy.

I don't know if this answer could be a clue to your problem but found this answer to a similar problem on an other forum: this was the answer as printed there:
"As for the audio delay, I called Vocopro and they were really great about helping me work this out. It turns out my television (1 year old Samsung LED SmartTV) is creating the delay. I found this out after the Vocopro tech asked me to connect the DVG-777k red/white RCA audio output to an external speaker instead of my TV. The delay went away. He explained that some TVs take the analog signal from red/white RCA, convert it to digital, then (of course) back to analog to send over the speakers. Crazy! I'm so happy b/c just a few ms of delay makes karaoke UNBEARABLE!!! "

Re: KM 112 Mixer to use with Hoster

Greetings!

The below link will take you to the Acesonic KM 112 page. There you will find a link (about the middle of the page) to download drivers for Win 7 or XP 32bit. I have downloaded and looked at the files and notice that Vista is covered also. Some Vista drivers work with Win 7 also. Several of the program file names end with "64". I find that to usually mean a 64 bit driver. I would say that if you down load and install, the 64 bit drivers will be on your machine.

I have read the users manual for your mixer trying to figure out the microphone delay you reported.

The installation of the above drivers may or may not correct that.

An excerpt from the manual reveals:

There is a front panel switch (see page, “Front Panel Operation and Functions,” item number 9) to choose whether the KM-112 will function as an Audio device (mixer) and work with the audio in signals (see rear panel information above), or work as a computer interface, allowing you to record your vocals through the USB connection to your Windows computer.
With the above in mind, it appears that the USB connection was intended for recording purposes. If you by chance have some sort of recording software running at the same time that you are attempting to run a show, the software could possibly be causing the microphone delay. Just a thought
