Super cdgs
I have coverted a Chartbuster SCDG on my Hoster laptop and I don't know the steps I need to take to download these 450 songs into my Hoster program. I know that that I have to open the "Import Songs", after that I don't know what to do. Anybody?

Re: Super cdgs
I presume you have either converted them to mp3+g or zip ?
From the menu select Import files then Index Song files, this opens the "Index Hard Drive Files" dialog. Select the KMH button for the As: Then for type select either the MP3G or Zip button depending on your type, that should bring up windows explorer so that you can browse to the folder where your files are, once you see your files listed press select, this should display all the tracks in the top frame. Select one and it should appear in the field and seperators window. Now you have to fiddle with the drop down boxes next to where it says "Define field order" to match your file name including any spaces between the seperators. Example if your file is numbered like this: 0001- All I Want Is A Life - Tim McGraw.zip I would set the field seperators to "Ignore- Title - Artist" press the Add files button and if the field seperaters are correct all the songs will list in the bottom window in the correct columns up to 99 tracks check they all look right then press select all and lastly the index files button. Once the first 99 are indexed the next 99 should fill the bottom window. If your files are named something like CB201 - 00001 - All I Want Is A Life - Tim McGraw.zip then you may want to set the field order to "Ignore - ignore - Title - Artist" Or if the disc id is at the end of the file name then set ignore at the end instead of the beginning. If you have problems with the field order then copy one exactly as it is and I will try to tell you the setting to use. I do have a video on youtube explaining the import procedure here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjf7fxEK5wk Fast forward to about 4.5 minutes to the part relating to above. |
