Using Hoster 4.21 - Video issue

Computer Type - Laptop (Acer Aspire 7736)
Operating System- Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor speed- 2.2 GHz
Ram in computer- 3.0 Gb
Hoster Version- 4.21
A detailed description of the problem. -
Re-installed Hoster program on my Laptop. Before re-install, was not having an issues, turned out to be a hardware issue (VGA conversion unit) and not a software issue.

With the re-install I am now having with issues with playing Videos.
- Videos play on all screens, but have no sound.
- Videos play from insta-buttons without issue (Screen or sound)

What am I missing to get Videos to play normally once again??

I don't have version 4.21 now so I can't look back at settings but would suggest first you check Hoster's Tools/audio settings. Is the playlist audio card set to the Speakers on board card ?
If 4.21 allowed second audio card for monitoring have you got it reversed selection ?
The playlist audio card should match what is your default selection in Windows.

If you are using an external sound card make that is the default card in windows first then set Hosters Tools/Audio Controls to use that for the playlist card.

1 Attachment(s)
Ok, I opened the Audio controls and it had Speakers as the the first selection and the sound card for the second. (See attachment)

Both of them can not be the same because as I switch one, the other switches to the second alternative.

So I switched them the other way around and still got nothing. Video shows but no sound.

Switched them back to the original settings and now they play fine.

Thanks.

Gremlins :g

That other card is the digital out, on mine I set it to disabled in windows sound playback properties but if it's now OK you may prefer leaving it as it is.

If you ever use an HDMI connection to your external monitor that would use that to send the sound to the monitor that is why I disable it because it overrides the speakers out to your external source.
