cannot load gdg disc into hoster
 

Brought up Hoster one night and the CD load option is no longer available (it won't highlight). Even when I put a disc in before or after bringing up Hoster. It did work just fine. I have Hoster 4.30.3 running on a Dell E Inspirion 2gb XP dual incore processor.:f

Not having version 4.30 any longer can't be sure the settings are in the same place but look in Tools menu for CD/DVD drives dialog, when you are in the dialog reselect the default read drive even if it already shows it correct use the drop down arrow and reselect it then press save.
Now close Hoster and reboot the computer. This should reset the registry for that drive.

If the drive is an external usb type it could also be to do with a faulty lead or the connections.

Thanks for the response. Everything was set correctly, but I reset it anyway, logged back into Hoster, double clicked the import disk, even though it still wasn't highlighted and it worked. Appreciate it.
