I want to remove the "Image" file in the Show Display Setup dialog box.

I accidently :e clicked on the Image while in the Tools-Show Display Setup dialog box. Once you click your mouse in there you cannot get out of the dialog box without adding a file. Then the radio button goes to Image and a little white square with a red X shows up on the display screen. (This is in the intermission part of the Show Display Setup screen. Now it (the file) cannot be removed. You cannot back space it or delete it but you can change it. Problem is you cannot make it a blank (like it was before I “stupidly” clicked in there). How can I get it back to blank or null? :?

you should be able to select the radio button for solid color, then click the button for bkgrnd color, select a color press OK then press apply and close.
Once you open show display it will keep asking you to choose an image until you select one of the other radio buttons or select a picture.
The address to the file as you say can not be removed from this dialog but selecting the color radio button should stop it displaying a wrong selection.
If you are seeing an X it is because you selected a none valid file or the path is wrong, selecting another valid image should display an image.

The only way to remove that picture file address and leave it blank is through the registry editor so if you want to do that follow these instructions:
First close Hoster so it's not running.
In windows 7 type Regedit.exe in the Start/search programs & files window, you should then see an executable file appear above double click to open the editor.
If using XP click on Start/ Run to enter the command.
Once in the dialog Click on the + or arrow sign left of my Computer then the same with HKey_current_user then Software then MicroTechnology Unlimited and finally Default, Now look down the name list for "Breakbody Image" to the right of that it should show the path that you accidentally entered. Right click the "Breakbody Image" and a small dialog will open choose Modify then delete the path in the value data field only and press OK, then X out of the editor.
Now when you start Hoster you should have a blank box.

It should not be necessary to do this if you select the color radio button it will ignore what you selected for that image.

:) Thanks Roy. I will "hack" the registry and fix the file name. I did not know what it was called. No more fat fingers for me...until the next time. :g
