Upgrade install problem
When trying to install the latest upgrade, I click on install and nothing happens. What's up with that?

Did you "click" or "double click?" What version of Windows do you have? Have you had any problems installing upgrades before? The reason I'm asking is, I had problems upgrading a friend's computer this weekend and as it turms out, I needed to install some Windows updates on a brand new computer. Hoster would attempt to install, but aborted each time during installation. There's lots of good help on this forum, provided the people here understand your problem. |

Did you try to upgrade after Hoster informed that a newer version was available and after selecting to upgrade from there found nothing happened. ? If not try giving a bit more info. If that is the case try this: If you look in the folder where you usually download upgrades to or if you don't know where it is use Windows search and find hoster507.05setup.exe, right click it and select "Properties", where it states size it should be "23.7 MB" if it is less than this delete it. If you have the full install double click it to start the install process. If it was less then it is not a full install, go to the main site and upgrade from there. http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster.htm If can't find the hoster507.05setup.exe on your computer just go straight to the above upgrades page and install from there not from within Hosters Help/Check for Updates dialog. |
Re: Upgrade install problem
