I'm surprised myself if your new I7 could not support multiple displays :m

Can you post the make & model # back to us, perhaps we could look it up and better inform you of how to overcome this.

According to the spec I just looked up, it has an HDMI output socket which would allow you to connect to an external TV with HDMI connection socket. Now as this is not always convenient type of connection when in your local bar you can get adapters that convert that signal to an analog video or svideo output.
If you have a TV with HDMI input then just purchase an HDMI cable and try that for now. I will try and get you info on the Video adapters for you.

To add to the above, if you search for HDMI to video converter I came up with this: http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Composite.../dp/B0047PDBP0

If you search you may find a better deal or someone else might know of a better deal for you.:)

According to this review on this site: http://www.laptopreviews.com/lenovo-...review-2012-04 your computer has a VGA connector so you could connect a VGA to video adaptor as these are cheaper than the previous type I mentioned.
I attach picture of the VGAconnection on your computer.

This is the type of converter you need to go from the VGA out. http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

Re: oooops new computer doesnt support extended desktop

1) Check Tools/Audio control, in playlist audio card window check which card is selected.
2) right click on th little speaker icon on the task bar select "Playback devices" in the dialog that opens is the speakers item set as default if not right click on speakers and set as default.
If you can see HDMI output icon right click that and select disable, this will only stop the sound going through the HDMI cable not the video signal.
3) select speaker again then properties then the levels Tab, now check the volume for audio output.
4) lastly right click speaker icon again on task bar, this time select "Open volume mixer" and check the levels there.

Re: oooops new computer doesnt support extended desktop

ok here is a somwhat clearer statment of what is happening. hoster 5.07 every feature i have tried from background audio to tempo change and volume change works also workingis the book creator and the edit songs feature i put in one disc of karaoke it imported it fine i can play an audio tune just fine the only thing that wont work is when i try to play a karaoke tune it waits a few seconds then i get an error message that hoster has stopped working and do i want to look on line for a solution or close the program i has tried both options and all it does is run a few more seconds and closes the program. i have done every thing and i am not a newbie at this i have been using hoster for ten years now. i have made every change in the manual and have done every update i have checked and rechecked every item in the manual and all settings are where they should be. like i said everything works except actual karaoke.i tried it from a singers disc (sound choice disc) it copyies and then makes a kma puts it on the list tells me it is safe to remove media but when i click the play button it crashes hoster again i tried it from imported songs same thing crash i tried it from a thubm drive result crash it simply will not play a karoke song from anywhere. ok now tell me what i have done wrong? ps the audio songs play perfectly.itis a lenovo y480 with intel core i7 third generation quad core processor. 750 gig harddrive 5400 rpm ( drive tests good) and 8 gigs of ram ddr3. help!

Re: oooops new computer doesnt support extended desktop

Have you tried un-installing, then when you re-install check the box that states do you want to remove all previous settings (or words to that effect) if that doesn't work either put in a support ticket or try this:
un-install Hoster, then use system restore to return your computer to the date before you installed Hoster on it.
Then do all the Windows updates again as these will have reset, checking as well those instructions described in the previous error message you received.
Now if you have access to it (check your account page) download and install 5.06 version or an earlier version you were using before this latest update, try that if that works OK then download and install 5.07, that will install 2 icons on your desktop a Hosterprior which will be your 5.06 and the ordinary Hoster icon that will be 5.07 both which should work just by clicking their icons.
