Songbooks

Is there a way I can abbreviate the brands for my books before printing? It would be nice if they were just SC, CB, DK, ect. Some singers like to know beforehand... Alot less space and ink.

Re: Songbooks

This is one way.
I should try it on a small selection first in case you are not happy with the result. Also take note that your database would no longer show them as full names.

From the edit multiples dialog, list all using the wild card * then click the header for brands to list them all in brands order select all of a particular brand using shift + left click then enter an abbreviated brand name in the brands box then press apply this will change all those brands.

In your songbook dialog change the third field to Brand.

Another way is using find and replace in your word processor but that would need doing every time you printed a new book.
