Hiding Duplicates in the Songbook

Re: Hiding Duplicates in the Songbook

Hoster only hides the songs that you select and mark in the edit dialog tick box at the bottom.
Then in the Songbook dialog tick the box in that to hide all those you selected to hide in the edit dialog.

It has nothing to do with automatically finding duplicates.

Re: Hiding Duplicates in the Songbook

so it has to be done one by one in the edit songs ?

Re: Hiding Duplicates in the Songbook

The short answer for the king of one liners is "Yes".

To elaborate on it.
You can use the multiple option in the edit dialog, then list them all in order of Artist or Title by clicking on the header fields, then using the "Ctrl + left click" select a number of them then tick the Hide in song book box then Apply multiple changes.

The hide duplicates tick box in the songbook dialog does not actually look for duplicate, it just uses the files you mark as duplicates in the edit dialog.
