Unable to open database during edit

When in the edit song menu and I try and delete duplicate songs sometimes but not always I get an error message saying "unable to open database" if I try it gain or a third time the song will actually delete.

Running version 5.05

Also why can't we make the edit songs list/viewing area screen larger?

Re: Unable to open database during edit

Have not seen the problem you describe, only error I receive are to do with trying to delete songs that are still in the main playlist, trying to delete songs that are on an external hard drive that is not connected and trying to delete songs that were previously deleted by other means not through the edit dialog.
If your problem is because of the latter try rebuilding the database first this may clear out all those types.

As to the size, it has something to do with making it compatible with various different screen resolutions and screen sizes. There were problems for some users not being able to see the bottom of the screen, as a compromise it was fixed at this size.

I also find that while editing songs, the program is slow. When you want to work on the next song you have to wait a little bit, move the highlighted song up or down to another songs before you can actually work on another song.
