Lyrics lagging in hoster

I have the newest version of hoster and all the updates for windows and my drivers and have done all the required changes on my computer to run Hoster and the lyrics are slow. It usually plays the first song without any problems but then goes down hill.

I am running windows 7 with a Nvidia geforce GT 230M card.

I have been having this problem for sometime now and have been forced to use a different program to run my karaoke files. Any help in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried adjusting the Offset in Tools/Options to fix this?
For individual songs there is now a Sync slider in the top section of the main Hoster screen that you can use if one song is off.

Hi Chad, sorry to hear your still having this sync problem. I know you answered before in this post that it was fixed for you: http://forum.mtu.com/showpost.php?p=101918&postcount=58 That was version 4.22

So when did it start again or has it never been right ?

Yea i haven't had any problems with it for a long time but it seems with this new version I am. The slider doesn't help at all. Basically what happens is once the screen refreshes the lyrics highlight slow and then catch up to the song by the end of the current screen and then repeats once again on the next screen of lyrics.

Am wondering if it might be because of updating my driver of my graphics card trying to get the video to work....

Which driver are you using ?
It has recently been suggested by Admin that the Verde 285.79 Driver - Beta has solved a lot of Nvidea problems but be aware there is a 32bit version and a 64 bit version as someone found the 64 bit version actually slowed their computer down.
Other wise try rolling the driver back to the earlier one to see if that cures it.

Another point here I know you stated that you have all Windows updates but do you have the latest version of Media player ?
Also I should double check the recommended settings for your windows version as it has been found that some windows updates can alter these settings.

I accidently downloaded the 64 bit first, Win 7 stopped the install and wouldn't let it continue due to being 64.

Thanks for all the help. I currently have the 64 bit driver installed and am gonna try the 32 bit and see what that does. I will keep you posted! :)

Ok tried installing the 32 bit and I get an error saying that it isn't compatible with my version of windows (which is 7 Home Premium edition). :?

Yours must be a 64 bit machine?

If you open control panel and look for system It should tell you if it's 64bit

Noticed today my Hoster was doing exactly what was quoted above. I did some search and found the above post. Just as I was about to go online and see about updating my drivers I noticed my laptop was unplugged and I was running on battery. LOW battery. I plugged it back in and then went back and tried a couple of songs and "Presto" Everything was back to normal.

So, anyway, just a FYI. Thought it was weird that low battery could cause the same thing as outdated video drivers.
