Very basic question about Microstudio

I have Hoster, Vocopro and Keyrite currently and am looking at Microstudio. I need to put several of my songs on a CD-G disc for a party at a friend's house Saturday night that does not have Hoster. If I purchase Microstudio, can it write from my KMA and MP3+G library in Hoster, or do I need to use my purchased-from-MTU external drive? The demo wrote fine to a CD but it was a CDA file only.
Thanks

Even though the file on the CD says it is a CDA it is actually written as a CDG. CDG is not used as an extension on CDs. If you look at a karaoke CDG disc with Windows Explorer all the tracks have the CDA extension.
So yes you can use Microstudio to create custom discs with your KMA and MP3+G song files. In fact I just did a disc tonight.

Burned a disc and it worked fine on my friend's Pioneer CDG player- thanks again, MTU!

Glad to hear that. Since this has been resolved I am closing this thread.
