Database won't Rebuild

Trying to rebuild the song database and when it gets to a certain number while building, it stop and we get a message that says, The parimeter is incorrect. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

What version of Hoster are you using?
The problem you have sounds like a corrupt file and this isn't easy to find.

Re: Database won't Rebuild

Using the MTU Laptop Hoster 4.32. While rebuilding the songs database it stops at 1916. This is where I get the error. Thought maybe it might have been that numbered song. I went in and deleted it and apparently is wasn't the case.

Re: Database won't Rebuild

I don't know if this will help but open Hoster edit dialog and enter a * in the search box after it list all, look down the Book ID column, you may need to click the Book ID header to make it list in ascending order, then find the last book Id that entered, then note what the next book Id should be then see if you can tell what the next one would be, if they are kma files note the disk ID of the last one this may help you determine the file to delete.

I only get that error when I have a bad file. Did you recently import new songs?

Roy, Thank you so much for your help. I did end up figuring it out by your last post. It ended up being quite a few songs that was causing the problem. Thank you once again!!
