Cannot Change Artist Name In 5.02
 

Hoster 5.02 Hi I am sure that I am just having brain fade but i was trying to get all the artists to show the same so that when you print song books it does not keep putting up different headers. i.e. Lady GaGa versus Lady Gaga. I was trying to get all of the Lady GaGa songs to show her name with the second capital G but i cannot get the second G to capitalize. I guess the alternative is to change all the GaGa to Gaga but not certain why it will not allow this. thanks in advance

Try this, Enter Lady Ga leave a space Then enter Ga, then move the cursor back to the space and delete the space.

Thank you that does work. Seems like a extra work but at least can get all of the same artist names identical. thanks

I believe it is a setting (non-optional) that capitolizes the first letter of a word and makes all the rest lower case. As Roy has said there are ways around it. Just have to play with them.

From what i've experienced, it's whatever is already in the bucket. It will populate from that. It's a PITA trying to put in a title or artist, that it automatically fills in. Roys suggestion does work, just extra unnecessary steps to put it in the way one wants.

I've created a Task to review this. We use a standard Windows "combo box" that is enabled for editing, with a dropdown list behind it. There may be another attribute we can enable that we haven't so far. :w

just copy the Lady GaGa and then paste it in the ones without the two capital G's
